With over 12 years of experience as a film editor, Jonathan has honed his craft working on a diverse range of projects. His portfolio spans short films, documentaries, and feature-length productions, showcasing his versatility and expertise in the editing room.

Jonathan recently edited the award winning feature film “Hunting Matthew Nichols” which had its premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival in October 2024. The film has since appeared at three more film festivals with a fifth festival appearance at Whistler in December 2024. “Hunting Matthew Nichols” has garnered numerous award wins and nominations across its film festival appearances including an award for Best Feature Editing at FilmQuest 2024.

As a gay man, Jonathan brings a unique perspective to his work, often contributing to projects that celebrate diversity and representation. His extensive experience, creative vision, and adaptability across various film formats have established him as a respected professional in the Canadian film editing landscape.
